CHANGES IN THE DISTRICT TEAM
Stuart Thorpe, who for the past 6 years has been ADC (Scouts) is movingon to help with Development at County level. We wish him all the best inhis new enterprise— even though we are sorry to see him go.However, his spot has already been filled—as the D.C. Dave Turton has announced thatNev Barratt is to take on this role.Dave writes: “Thank you Nev for accepting this challenge, I am looking forward to working withyou. My thanks also to Stuart Thorpe who will be leaving us to help develop scouting in theCounty, you will be missed”.
Also on the move will be Steve Tupper. He has decided to relinquish his D.E.S.C.role at the end of the summer. However, Steve will not be leaving Scouting in theDistrict as he has decided that he would like a new challenge and will be taking upthe role as GSL at 1st Trentside.
