Training Assignment(For Participating in Rover Scout Leader Advanced Course)

Each participants must read pre-course materials provided with or advised before attending the Rover Scout Leader Advanced Course and. A copy of the implemented long-term plan (one year) for his Rover Crew.

Plan of Crew Meetings:One for a regular Crew meeting.One for a special crew meeting.One for a weekend activity involving specific Scout skills.Detailed plan of a community development camp for the crew including budget allocation.

Suggestion on how to recruit young potential Rover Scouts and how to retain them in crew activities.One copy of life plan completed by Rover Scout under the guidance of the RSL.A personal checklist supplied by the Course organizer completed prior to the course rating them weak or need to improve.Read “Rovering to Success” and prepare a short note on five rocks. Detailed plan of a “project” for the crew including budget allocation.
