I know HAPPY HOLIDAYS from Tracy & Robin We hope that you are taking the time to share and care with those who are close to you as 2014 comes to a close. In these current times of hustle and bustle it is often hard to keep ourselves and those around us the priority. So please take a moment to catch up with us and our family. Here’s wishing you ALL the VERY BEST in 2015! Scott Palmer and Laura continue to live and work in Prince George with their dogs, Kiera and Grisome and “Outdoor Kitty”. They had an extremely busy 2014 starting with their March 1 st outdoor wedding at Sun Peaks. What a fabulous event it was and despite the -15 degree temperature, everyone had a great time. Special thanks to all the famiies and friends for sharing this very special occasion. Scott has spent most of his free time this summer building a new carport (their old one collapsed this past winter after record snowfalls), a fence around the yard (to keep the dogs in and the bears out) and a major renovation on their kitchen. Kudoos to Laura, for being very patient living without a kitchen for these past few months. It is now complete and we can’t wait to visit them to check it out. Tor Nicholas made the move to Toronto and commutes to Guelph where he is a researcher for the University of Guelph Ag-Ec department. Needless to say, he has had a busy year enjoying the big city and travelling all around North America presenting and participating in Ag-Ec conferences. We were lucky enough to attend a banquet here in Vancouver where he received the 2014 “Canadian Agriculture Economics Society Outstanding Master Thesis Award.” Congratulations! Tor. He is currently in the process of completing all his applications to do his PHD in economics and we wish him all the very best and hope he gets to be closer to home! Stefano and Caitlyn are expecting their first child in mid-January. This is our first grandchild and Tracy and I are really excited about becoming grandparents! Stefano continues his medical studies and will become an interventional radiologist when he is finally completed in four years. Currently he is rotating through hospitals around the country and will get his 2 year residency assignment in March. Caitlyn looks radiant and is looking forward to their due date. She continues to run her medical billing service and be a great wingman for her partner. Congratulations to you two! Some of the highlights of Rum’s year were celebrating her 83 rd birthday with family and friends at the race track as well as a second family gathering the next day. She took a two week vacation in Maui with RGT, TEAA and her daughter, Ringo where she met up her sister Jean and celebrated Jean’s 88 th birthday. She enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching all the sea turtles and hanging out on the beach, relaxing and reading and getting in the water to cool down. She sends out her sincere “thanks” to family and friends for all their support and we feel blessed to have her here with us, sharing and caring! Rum’s notes – 2014 was a difficult year for Kitty. Her love and life, “The Captain” passed away in February, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. After watching him fade away over the past few years, his death was somewhat of a relief, yet dealing with it, after almost 70 years of companionship has not been easy for her. Three memorials were held for George, Ashes were spread at the Ranch, in Kent, Wash. and finally off his best buddy, Malcolm’s boat into the Pacific Ocean. TEAA’s Message Mermaids of Maui! Atherton clan shaking it up! Family and of Ruth Lake! Clan Anderson surprise! Tor won an award for his Master’s thesis, which was excellent! The best part was he was honoured at a banquet in Vancouver so Rum, Robin and I were able to be at the presentation. So proud of you Tor! Now for me….Well I keep moving forward, life has been challenging this year. Pop passed away in February and watching Rum go through it all and finding herself alone, is something we share. I know how hard it is to say good bye – I love you Rum. My mom, Wilma was placed in a care home in November of 2013 and I see the pain in her eyes. I know she wishes she was in heaven with my dad. I want to thank my family for all your support through this hard time. To my sisters, Wendy and Lori – God Bless You! for being there for Mom. To my sister Dale, thank you for opening your heart and letting me in. To my brother Tom, for standing up for what is right and My goodness, lot’s to share with you this year. My son Scott, married his long time beautiful love, Laura. I think our son Tor put it best when he said “that was truly a fairy tale wedding”, I couldn’t agree more. Ed’s and my dream for our son finally came true. I was so honoured when Laura asked me to make her wedding bouquets. It still brings me to tears when I think of that very special day. I’m going to be a Grandma, Gramma Tea-Tea! I’m so excited! Stef and Caitlyn are having a baby. Caitlyn looks adorable with her little belly that I rub every chance I get so he/she will know who I am as soon as I get to hold the bundle of being my brother. Lastly to my Robin, for your continued support, for help in making my dreams come true. I love you dearly! Merry Christmas everybody!

Once again, it was a close race and ferocious competition for the - WSR Fisherman of the Year award. This prestigious recognition is tabulated using a complicated formula which takes into account the total number of fish caught, combined with the weight and length of each landed fish. Tabulations are completed and confirmed by the BBS accounting firm. The WSR board is pleased to announce that Caitlyn Tolhurst is the 2014 WSR Fisherman of the Year. Records show that Caitlyn quietly hauled in whoppers all year, including the largest fish of 2014. Special mention to runner up – Ace Erechar, who was landing them left and right in July. Congratulations to Caitlyn and Ace.

RANCH UPDATE Once again, it was all about the boardwalk on our arrival in late May. The lake was even higher than 2013 and nearly all of the “final hard work” that then was either underwater or haphazardly FAREWELLS

We love the Ranch; the tranquility, the raw beauty and the peace it brings to all who visit. Our plans remain the same, we will build our home on the lake in 2017 and in the meantime we will pitter and patter around, working on the road, the garden, the boardwalk and anything that draws our attention, in between our many fishing trips. Hope you consider a visit up to the Ranch in 2015!

floating around. So once again, it was time to “get her done!” Two full days of blood, sweat and tears, 56 pounded posts and sore shoulders, should hopefully mean – dry feet in the future, All fingers are crossed! When we are not working, fishing continues to be the main focus @ the Ranch. We are still working at mastering chronomid fishing for the spring and summer and once again the October fishing in “the Rhubarb Patch” is exceptional. to keep up with the pace. 2014 saw the passing of my father, the wedding of a son and news that I was going to be a grandfather – a near, complete full circle of life. I remember as a young boy, camping, sailing and fishing with my father – I thank him for those times and for planting the seed – earth, wind and water! I cherish this and hope to share similar times with my future grandchildren and the rest of our families. The Captain was a hard worker, it didn’t matter if it was manual labour or intellectual, he always put his head down and “got her done.” – I thank him for that curse and know it has gracefully been passed onto his grandchildren and future

great grandchildren. God Bless you Pop! We will all miss you! I continue to be so very proud of our sons, the lives they have built and continue to build for themselves and their families, for their passions for life, for family and for caring. I look forward to sharing our future with them. And so, I continue…

I encourage you to click on the links and learn more about what we have been up to...to fish – I have done the most fishing I have done in years. Stefano and Caitlyn have truly caught the fly fishing bug and it was great to get out on the water with them numerous times. We are still working hard to master year round fishing at the Ranch, but also enjoyed getting out on lakes like Roche and Kidd and rivers like the Vedder and Harrison. Looking forward to more of that Stefano! .to love – thank you to all our families and their clans, for loving, caring and sharing! Special thanks to my coach, my partner, my conscience, my wingman and my lover, TEAA. Thank you for loving all of us, you truly are – a dream come true!
