SCORPION™ H2 HANDHELD COMPUTER

The SCORPION™ H2 Handheld computer is

the second generation of DRS Technologies’

family of SCORPION™ handheld computers.

The SCORPION™ H2 provides first responders

and dismounted organizational leaders a task

and mission-configurable handheld computing

solution. Configurable to meet the demands of

the dismounted Warfighter, the SCORPION™

H2 is a rugged commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS)

device. The SCORPION™ handheld computer

features the latest Android operating systemand is equipped with a dual core processor and

robust memory and storage capacity. The modular

design of the SCORPION™ H2 is compatible with

a family of expansion modules designed to meet

special capability sets. The roadmap of expansion

modules currently includes: Extended Battery

Life, USB HUB, Information Assurance (IA), RFID,

Dead Reckoning, SAASM GPS and Chemical Bio

Detection.
