Scope of Work for Performance Optimization Software Implementation for Operadora San Felipe. Actual Equipment in use: Operadora San Felipe Limited Partnership (OSF) is using two Mark V <I> DOS stations for turbine control and one Max1000 DCS Release E.3. Between both systems it is in use a data link which is made through a Distributed Processing Unit (DPU) of the DCS. The data link was made using two serial modems and the protocol Modbus. All the historical information is being archived by the DCS. Scope of Work for Performance Optimization Software Implementation for Operadora San Felipe.

Actual Equipment in use:

Operadora San Felipe Limited Partnership (OSF) is using two Mark V <I> DOS stations for turbine control and one Max1000 DCS Release E.3.

Between both systems it is in use a data link which is made through a Distributed Processing Unit (DPU) of the DCS. The data link was made using two serial modems and the protocol Modbus.

All the historical information is being archived by the DCS.

The DCS configuration is as shown in the next diagram:

The Graphics Processor is to Show the graphics and allow the operator to interact with the system. Also is the one that has the CD for History Archiving.The Applications Processor is the one where the points are configured and the historical data is requested.The Real Time Processor is to communicate the DPU’s with the Applications and Graphics processors.The network between the processors in the workstation is a Ethernet 10baseT with coaxial cable connection.

The Data Highway is made of fiber optic and it is redundant (CW and CCW).

The amount of Points we have registered in our DCS is around 4,400 points.

Performance Monitoring Software OSF Requirements:

Collect plant data from the points of the Max1000 DCS OSF is running Provide Users Defined Trends Archive historical data on dedicated server with sufficient Raid 5 hard disk capacity for two years

of online data (minimum 1 terabytes of capacity in full raid 5 mode). DVD/dual layer or Blu-ray disk backup capability.

Sequence of Event Recorder Graphically should show the plant status and readings Allow user defined alarms. It has to be capable to allow viewing of real time and historical trends of the process data. Include an accessible reporting interface. Allow make reports easily.

Monitor Plant Performance Full and Partial Load Efficiency data

Alarms when efficiency is below user defined set points User Input for fuel heating value using FO#2 in the combustion turbine and FO#6 in the SD Boiler

until calorific meters are installed. Flexibility to change fuel source from liquid to gas if conversion proposal is approved.
