Intent of innovPlus

• Run twice a year (June and November) to facilitate the rapid development of prototypes that could address learning challenges and exploit opportunities for better CET outcomes and delivery.

• Organised as a competition where Challenge Owners (CO) form a partnership with Solution Partners (SP) to present a holistic solution.

• Up to 3 innovPlus Flame Awards, with up to $200,000 grant for each Award, going to the winning Challenge Teams.

Terms and Conditions of innovPlus

(Foreground System) IP rights will be jointly owned between Challenge Team organization(s) and SUSS.Organisations will have an opportunity to partner IAL in scaling the adoption and proliferation of the prototype beyond Challenge Team.

Team composition should be inter-disciplinary to develop and trial the prototype, and to maximise implementation success.

Winning proposals will be eligible for innovPlus Grant of up to $200,000 with 10% co-funding in cash or in-kind.

Terms and Conditions of innovPlus

Agreement for Disbursement of Grant (ADG) will be based on the proposal and partnership arrangements submitted for the innovPlusPresentation Day.

Any change to proposal and partnership arrangements will result in automatic disqualification for the Grant Award

ADG shall require participation of Challenge Team organisations in the case study and/or research papers documenting its experiences and learning points in developing and trialling the prototype.

Disbursement Schedule of innovPlus Grant

4Complete trial of POC with actual learners/users, submission of Final and Summative Report and delivery of Final Presentation.

Fulfilment of all obligations in the ADG Including profiling prototype in

iN.LAB professional development seminars and workshop, partner showcase for a period of 3

to 6 months and participate in IAL/SUSS conferences (where applicable)

[To participate in case studies/ research conducted by IAL/SUSS]

Grant fully disbursed in S/N 4. iN.LAB will support the profiling campaign of Prototype and Challenge Team organisations where appropriate. iN.LAB will also support the referral of Challenge Team to further learntech grant channels available.

innovPlus Grant Funding Components

• Fees of experts engaged directly to support the project in the areas of technical and development work;

• Supplies that are necessary for the overall operation of the project;

• Equipment that will have direct contribution to the overall development of the prototype ;

• Software licensing essential for the project and which covers the period of prototype development and trialling/pilot;

• Consultancy hired for purposes such as research or advice that have direct impact on the project (capped to 10% of Maximum Grant Amount);

• GST on expenses incurred for project by non-GST registered grant receiving organisations

Non fundable items:• salary, consultation fees or honorarium costs paid or payable to principal

proponents of the Project which are existing full-time employees of the Counterparty or Solution Partners

• travelling or transportation costs (local and overseas);• marketing or publicity expenses; and • if the Counterparty is a GST-registered entity / person, any GST.

SUSS shall• not be liable to pay any monies, expenses or costs of whatever nature

other than those expressly set forth in the ADG; and • not under any circumstance be liable to pay any monies in excess of the

Maximum Grant Amount or the total amount of Qualifying Expenses (expressed in Annex B) incurred by the Counterparty, whichever is lower.
