Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

cup sugar1 tsp. baking powder¼ tsp. baking soda½ tsp. salt8 tbsp. unsalted butter½ cup sour cream1 large egg

Preheat oven to 400˚

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Cut butter into small pieces.

Add butter to flour mix…

…use hands to work in butter until mixture resemble coarse meal.

Whisk sour cream and egg…

…until smooth.

Stir sour cream mixture into flour mixture…

…until large dough clumps form.

Use hands to press the dough against bowl into a ball.

Place on lightly floured surface.

Pat into a 7-8 inch circle about ¾ inch thick.

Sprinkle with sugar and cut into 8 triangles.

Place on cookie sheet.
