Scoliosis is the abnormal curvature of the spine. Back braces are a well-established medical device that, when worn properly, are proven to prevent scoliosis curves from worsening and requiring surgery. Unfortunately, braces are incredibly painful and prevent patients from falling asleep, leading to a decrease in compliance.

SleepTight is designed to improve scoliosis brace usage by increasing patient comfort to encourage consistent use and by reporting compliance data to allow for more informed medical treatment.

Velcro straps are tightened until the mechanical stop is reached.

SleepTight is turned on and a 30 minute timer begins.

Once the patient falls asleep and the timer finishes, the straps automatically tighten.
