FunctionThe SCITEQ End Closure Mounting machine optimizes the preparation of large pipe samples – saving time and cost on mounting and de-mounting end closures significantly.

The hydraulic towers forcing the end closures on to the pipe are safely controlled from remote control. The clamps secure fixation of the top cap, allowing for safe and convenient manual fine tuning. The design secures accurate mounting of the end cap ensuring no leakage while testing.

ConstructionThe European build End Closure Mounting machine is extremely robust, constructed with heavy duty parts and high level of hydraulic force. The machine isdesigned to handle end closures for pipes in PE, PEX, PVC, PP, ABS in sizes up to OD 1200mm, the shown version is build to handle DN110-DN1200

Features

Operation

Operation is partly manually and partly by electric controller with hydraulic cylinders for operation/lifting for fine tuning.

High durability

The construction is robust ensuring long lifetime and reliable operation, which is required for handling large pipe samples as well as large end closures up to Ø1200mm. The machine is easy accessible from all four sides which eases the difficult handling of heavy end closures.

Time-saving solution

The mounting/de-mounting process normally requires min. 2 – 3 people for several hours plus force from an external source to ensure 100% tight sealing. The ECMM design enables operation by only one person - even when handling very large samples, thus saving both time and manpower.

SCITEQ thermo tanks 0 – 95 C

With the ECO line thermo tanks you get accurate conditioning of any type of sample at temperatures from 0 to 95° degrees Celsius. The Themo Tanks are available in multiple dimensions from volumes of 0,5 to 12 m3 water making the tanks suitable for countless specimen configurations and test scenarios.

Laboratory Saw

The SCITEQ lab saw is specially designed for laboratory preparation of pipe samples for dimensions from Ø 32 mm up to Ø 660 mm as standard and larger on request. The Laboratory Saw makes cutting and chamfering pipes faster, safe and more precise than ever, with the whole process taking place all in the same time.

End closures for large diameters

For internal hydrostatic pressure testing of larger pipe diameters from 315 to 1600mm –and larger at request. The end closures seal off the sample in order to generate internal pressure in the sample. Max. pressure depends on standard, specifications and pipe sample diameter.

SCITEQ pressure test solutions

For pressure testing plastic pipes and fittings in PE, PEX, PVC, PP, PB & glass fibre pipes. The system is a modular airless pressure testing system with unparalleled accuracy no matter what size sample is connected to the system. Solutions can contain from 5 to 50 individual pressure stations per cabinet.
