Sacré Cœur

Building Brilliant Minds

At Sacré Cœur, we are committed to educating young women across a broad range of subjects, just as our foundress, St Madeleine Sophie Barat was in the 19th century. This was very unusual for a woman of the time. Sophie was also passionate about ensuring young women, regardless of their background, were offered the opportunity of a Sacred Heart education.

The opening of our new STEAM Centre, the St Madeleine Sophie Barat Centre, gives us the privilege of honouring her legacy by offering scholarships to students who show passion and excellence in Science, Mathematics and Creative Arts. These scholarships offer the opportunity of a Sacred Heart education for students commencing in Years 8 or 9 in 2023.

Access ScholarshipsWe are also delighted to announce Access Scholarships for two new students entering Year 9 in 2023. These new, means-tested scholarships have been made possible through the financial support of our community during the 2021 Annual Appeal – “Building Brilliant Minds”.
