Matter: Anything with volume or mass

A football is a pure substance because it has weight witch is a part of mass and it has volume because it is visible and it takes up space. 4. Not Matter

Not Matter: anything without volume or mass

Space is not matter because it has nomass or volume. 5. Pure Substance

Pure Substance: a substance that cannot be broken down into other substances
