This year, I think it was challenging to create our Gravity Cruiser. We didn’t know what was making our Cruiser not run, and we didn’t know how we would fix it. We would try readjusting the lever and changing the wheels, but we couldn’t fix it. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn’t. Once, it went 6 meters but then it didn’t even go 3. It was very challenging.

WHAT HAVE YOU FOUND CHALLENGING ABOUT SCIENCE THIS YEAR?

What my group did was decide to ask Mrs. Brown for help. So she looked at our cruiser and realized that the chasse was leaning on the wheels. She told us that that created friction on the wheels, making it not move. So we taped the body closer together and wound it again. It went about 5 meters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHALLENGES?

I think my favorite activity was making our forces comics. I liked mixing facts with fiction, and I also liked creating the comics. I thought it was fun, and I understood contact and non-contact better. I also found a cool comic strip website. I think it was a good experience.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ACTIVITY IN SCIENCE THIS YEAR?

I think my personal goal this year is to improve on my science tests, I only got one test where I got everything right. I am going to study 5 minutes a day starting a week before the test. I will also look for online websites to help me with the topic. I will take practice quizzes with my mom and dad. I think I will do well after that.
