Who is Viva Spanish?


• Viva Spanish! is a Spanish Teaching Company that brings Spanish to K-8 non-public schools that includes an on-site teacher

• We provide teachers with all of the tools they need to provide a result based ON-SITE K-8 Spanish program experience for your students

• We serve over 55 schools in Ohio and have been doing this for over 23 years!

• Most schools recognize the benefits of Spanish in the elementary school

• It is not easy for Schools to find QUALITY teachers to teach K-8 Spanish part time

• It is rare that a K-8 Spanish program can be more than just “experience or exploratory”

We have seen some schools realize too late that their program or teacher was not equipped to deliver effective K-8 Spanish lessons.

We find and vet teacher candidates so that schools don’t have to!

• We do ALL the work to find qualified candidates, including screening and interviewing.

• We make sure that they speak Spanish!

• We check references and conduct background checks.

• We assist and pay for obtaining licensure for every teacher.

• For Catholic schools – Candidates complete the Virtus program in the first year.


Our program is risk-free for schools! – Schools are never “stuck” with a teacher that is not a good fit

We will quickly replace a teacher

if/when necessary!

In just once or twice per week – beginning in

Kindergarten - students learn what they need to prepare to “test out” of Spanish I in High School

K-3 –build vocabulary

4-5 – reinforce vocabulary and softly introduce

grammar

6-8 – Recycle vocabulary and provide formal

explanations of High School Spanish 1 grammar
