Dakota Country Enhanced Recycling Program Waste Sort Results
Recyclables found in trash administrative areas decreased from 67% to 1%
Trash generated dropped from 80% of all waste collected to 13%
Organics program diverted 50% of all building trash to compost
Contamination of organics less than 1%
Recycling overall increased by 8.5%
Trash generated dropped from 67.5% to 12%
Organics program diverted 48% of all building trash to compost
Contamination of organics 3%
