Archiving your course or organization in Blackboard is the first step to storing and saving your course. The steps below need completed before you can import your course or organization into Schoology.

1. Open your course or organization. 2. Click on Packages and Utilities in the Control Panel

3. Click Export/Archive Course

4. Click the Archive Course button.

5. To make sure everything is saved it is recommended to “uncheck” this checkbox.

6. Click Submit

7. The archive request will process and an email will be sent when complete. The export can take anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours depending on the size. You can continue working on other tasks until the email arrives.

Note: If you see the green success bar do not start the archive process again.

8. This is the email you will receive. As long as it says completed you can go to the next step. If you received any warnings there may be bad or unlinked content that couldn’t be packaged.

9. In Blackboard click the Export/Archive Course link to refresh the page.

10. Click the linked zipped file to start the download.

11. Save the file to your Network Drive.
