School Uniform Boys Shoes Must be: plain; all black (with no coloured logos); be made of polishable material (ie not canvas, but may have a rubber toe-cap); have a low or no heel; be shoes, not boots or ‘high tops’. They may be lace-up or slip-on, with no buckles. Please note: The Uniform Shop does not sell shoes. Shorts / Trousers Grey shorts or grey trousers may be worn year round. School Tie Must be worn year-round by Year 11-13 students. For Year 9 and 10 students the tie is optional for the month of February and compulsory for the rest of the year (and then optional for Year 9 students after Branches Camp goes in). The tie is compulsory for formal events such as prizegiving. Year 9-12 students must wear the school tie, and Year 13 students must wear that year’s Year 13 tie. Shirt Boys’ white collared shirt - short or long sleeve (must be tucked in). Socks Navy ankle socks, (3 pair pack) are available at the WHS Uniform shop in-school. Blazer Is the compulsory ‘primary’ garment. It must be worn to and from school and during the school day. Students may remove the blazer whilst in class or when active during Breaks. On hot days in February students may choose not to wear the blazer, and may come to school in just the shirt (and tie if required). WHS Uniform is available for try-on purposes at the in-school WHS Uniform Shop, with ties, socks, jerseys and belts available to buy.
