School rules Academic Session 2020 - 2021 Ÿ Every student should carry the Almanac to the school daily. Ÿ Students who come to the school on their own should arrive at the school five minutes before the bell rings. Ÿ Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform must be worn on all working days. Ÿ Girls should not apply nail polish or mehendi during school session. Ÿ Non- sikh boys should get their hair trimmed at regular intervals. Ÿ It is not advisable to bring valuable articles to the school. Girls can wear very small studs or ear rings in gold or silver. Ÿ Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones/ iPods/ cameras etc. in the school campus. These gadgets, if found in possession of the students within the school campus, will be confiscated. Ÿ The name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on the blazer and all other belongings of the students. Ÿ Changing classrooms between periods, where necessary, should be done silently and in an orderly manner. Ÿ Shouting, loud talking or whistling is not allowed in the school. Ÿ Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or spoil the desks or charts or damage any furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or damage things belonging to others. Damage done should be reported at once to the class teacher or coordinator, any damage done will have to be made good by the parents of the students concerned. Ÿ The school reserves the right to suspend/ expel students whose conduct is harmful to other students or to the school. Ÿ Every student shall always carry the identity card with him/her.

Ÿ Those who are coming to pick up the students from the school/ bus stop must always bring the school Identity Card for identification.

Ÿ Parents are requested not to visit their wards in the classrooms without the permission of the Principal/ Vice- principal. Communication with the teachers should be through the almanac on a regular basis, to monitor the performance of the students. Requests for the meeting teachers on school days other than on PTM days will not be entertained. If necessary, prior approval of the Principal/ Vice principal must be obtained.

Ÿ Appointment with Dentists/ Doctors or other should, as far as possible, be avoided during school hours. Such requests for early leave will not be entertained.

Ÿ All students shall follow the school dress code in letter and spirit.

Ÿ All students shall converse only in English in the school campus.

Ÿ Throughout his/her stay in the school, a student will be governed by the code of discipline of the school

Ÿ An act of indiscipline may lead to expulsion of child from the school.

Ÿ Parents/Guardians must adhere to the regulations of the school. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Principal will be final and binding on them.

Ÿ The school/hostel/bus fee will be charged for the entire span of twelve months irrespective of the date of admission to the school or student leaves in the mid of the session.

Ÿ If a student wants to change the school, he/she will submit the application for School Leaving Certificate along with fee of Rs.100 before 31st March otherwise fee for 1st quarter applicable for the new session shall be realized/ recovered.

Ÿ SCHOOL DUES: School dues are payable quarterly latest by the 10th of first month of each quarter. If the 10th of the month happens to be a holiday, then payment is to be made by the previous working day of the month.

Ÿ �TE FEE CHARGES: Late fee charges @ Rs.100 per day of delay shall be levied from 11th of the month in which the school dues are to be paid, till the end of the month. If the dues are not cleared even by the last day of relevant month, the name of the student will be struck off. Re admission may be allowed, at the discretion of Principal, only after payment of all dues including late fee along with the normal Admission fee, and subject to availability of a seat in the concerned class.

Ÿ DISHONOURED CHEQUES: In such cases, charges equal to 5% of the amount of the cheque will be payable over and above the amount of the cheque along Banker's cheque/ Pay order/ Bank Transfer apart from the late fee as per Late Fee Charges rules.
