ERASMUS+ MOBILITY FOR STUDY is a programme in the field of education promoted and financed by the European Union. Since 1987 it gave to more than 9million students the possibility to study and train in different Eu countries. You will be able to: • undertake a learning experience in another European country • spend 1 or 2 semesters in one of our partner Universities • experience new study methods and get acquainted with other academic systems • obtain recognition of the activities carried out during the mobility period
The same student may participate in Erasmus+ mobility periods up to 12 months maximum for each study cycle (Ba, Ma).
What can you do while abroad with Erasmus+ for Study? Funding
The Erasmus scholarship is a contribution offered by the EU to your costs for subsistence related to the mobility period. It is not a full funding of your expenses! Grants are defined depending on the geographic area of the chosen destination country. Very important You won’t pay fees at the host University You will still pay Unipd fees If you won’t pass min. 9 credits abroad you will have to give back your grant but your Erasmus student status will be guarantee (“zero grant” mobility)

Who can apply and how
COMMON CRITERIA FOR ALL UNIPD STUDENTS Regularly enrolled UE citizen Extra UE citizen with residence permit You can’t benefit at the same time of two EU grants 1 year Ba students Only second call: 15 cfu recorded on Uniweb (and 40 before leaving) 2 year Ba students First and second call: 40 cfu recorded on Uniweb Ma Students It’s given that they earned enough credits during their Ba studies

What do you have to upload on the application form on Uniweb? 1) PDF COPY OF YOUR ID CARD/RESIDENCE PERMIT (mandatory) 2) PDF OF YOUR PURPOSED PLAN OF STUDY ABROAD (mandatory) 3) PDF OF A LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE (only if you have it.

How to prepare your provisional study plan Print your Manifesto degli Studi and highlight the courses belonging to next academic year Find a coherence between these courses and the ones you’ll find in the course catalogues of the Universities you chose. Courses can match for title/content/scientific area 1 semester: 30 ECTS (=CFU) 2 semesters: 60 ECTS (=CFU)
Fill in the form with the titles of the courses and credits This provisional plan is mandatory. Please remember that you’re allowed to change it up to 4 times once you win the grant basing on the final course catalogue published by the host university
Language proficiency
EC fixed an “ideal” threshold level: B1 (lower intermediate) Every partner University fixes its own criteria about language proficiency and states if this level has to be certified or not

Online Linguistic Support – OLS Free test and course designed to assist Erasmus+ participants in improving their knowledge of the language in which they will study abroad. • available for German, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch • Mandatory • you’ll receive a login and a password to access the OLS platform
How it works: •assessment before the mobility •based on the assessment results, you’ll have access to an online language course before and during your stay abroad •final assessment which will allow you to measure the progress made during your mobility period
