AS Media Studies Preliminary Task – School Magazine Front Page Proposal Form Target audience: (age range, interests) Although it is a school newsletter you still have to think about your audience and how to appeal to them. 11-70, this is the range as it will be for students parents and teachers. It has to have news on the school and about important headlines. Possible title ideas: (masthead / title block) What is your magazine going to be called? title of main story of the school. Have information about head teacher etc… Priory news Priory weekly Main image: What will be the focal point of your front page, remember, your work “must include a photograph of a student in a medium close-up” the focal point and main image should be a image about or relating to the main story or headline of the newspaper or magazine. Main cover line: What will be the main story? something that has recently happened in the school ( yr. 10 wins football tournament) Additional key images: What other images will be on your front cover? The setting will vary from being in a classroom to being outside to show a variety of the school.
