SCHOOL HOLIDAY DATES SEPTEMBER 2015 to JULY 2016
CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN OUT OF SCHOOL DURING TERM TIME. Every day really does count and supports children’s progress and their future life chances. In genuine, exceptional circumstances you may apply to the Principal if you need to take children out of school. This involves completing a form and then a meeting with the Principal. This leave is RARELY granted. Bradford Council is now issuing penalty fines for children taken out of school when permission is not granted. Children are also likely to lose their school place, it is a time consuming and complicated process to get children into a new school, especially in the BD5 area.
