BULLDOG AWARDS Each week, students are nominated and recognized during morning meeting for exemplifying our core values and going

the extra mile to reach their goals. Two of our nominees are selected to win one of two awards. Our Principal Paw

Award recognizes a student who goes above and beyond to exhibit our core values while demonstrating leadership

amongst their peers. Our Breakthrough Award recognizes a student who has shown growth by being courageous and

resilient.

This week’s Breakthrough Award winner was:

6th Grade: Jimena Santillano-Oliveros

This week’s Principal’s Paw Award winner was:

Remember that every last Friday of the month we have

Dollar Dress Down. Students are able to bring a dollar to

dress down for a day. This money is collected and put

back into student activities.

Spirit and

College Wear Remember that every Thursday we have spirit/college

wear. Students are able to wear DSST spirit wear or col-

lege apparel along with jeans. Uniform shoes are still

required.

Challenge We have kicked off our monthly attendance

challenge! Each day, homerooms have the

chance to earn a letter towards spelling the

word "PERFECT" by having every student

present and on time. The homeroom (one per

grade level) that completes the word first will

win that month's prize. This month we are

"SCOOPING" our way into perfect attendance

with a chance to win an ice cream party!

demostrado crecimiento siendo valiente y resistente.

Dress Down.

estudiante presente y a tiempo.

mes estamos "ALCANZANDO" nuestra asistencia
