• The student code of conduct is a valuable resource that provides information to parents and students regarding standards of conduct, consequences of misconduct, and procedures for administering discipline.

• A weekly power sheet will be given to each student.
• Students are responsible for handing in their POWERsheet to each teacher.
• Each class period teachers will fill out students POWERsheets.
• Students can earn 0-10 points for every class period.
• Points are awarded based on
• Dress code• Staying on task• Being on time• Citizenship

The POWERsheets are a way for students to track their behavior. They can see what areas they need to work on and in which class.
Based on the points that they earn during the day will determine which color level they will be on for the following day.
Color levels range from RED to BLUE.

DAEP teachers are highly qualified and certified.
Students will still follow MISD curriculum.
Core subjects will be taught as well as some electives.
High school students will receive elective work from their home campus but administered by DAEP teachers.
