• Joint-Use model can be successfully used for elementary school development in urbanizing
areas.
• The regulations for edge sites played an important role in design development.
• Effective learning environment is possible on constrained sites without sacrificing program
requirements for elementary schools.
• Both design and site selection have a major role to play in development of sustainable school
models.
