Volunteers will be on-site to assist seniors and their parents with the FAFSA. The date, time, and location within the high school will be determined shortly. More information will be sent home at that time.
Check out http://ucango2.org/publications/fafsa/FAFSA_Facts.pdf for more information to help you prepare for filling out the FAFSA.
College Days for Seniors
Seniors are allowed two excused College Days.
In order for the College Day to be excused, seniors must see Mrs. Chambers to get a request form. The form must be signed by the student, parent, and all the student’s teachers before the request is approved by Mr. Vines or Mrs. Chambers.
When seniors return from their College Day, they need to bring a signed paper to the office from a college representative stating they attended a College Day or toured the college.
11th Grade—CCRA—ACT Spring 2020
After reviewing the data (including parent surveys), the district intends to use the ACT as the locally-selected, nationally recognized assessment for the College- and Career-Readiness Assessment (CCRA) for Spring 2020. Letters, surveys, and a public stakeholder meeting were provided with the opportunity for feedback to ensure that the ACT is the optimum CCRA choice for the
students.
Sophomore Tours at Red River Technology Center
Who? Sophomores
What? RRTC Tours
When? October 16, 2019
