1.1 Students in SECPSD will perform at or significantly above the provincial level in all grade levels at all standards of achievement in mathematics, that are measured by provincial assessment standards, by the end of the 2016 - 2017 school year.

2.2 By June 2017, Fewer than 10% of students entering Kindergarten will scored as vulnerable (below the 10th percentile) in the domain of Language and Cognitive Development as measured by the Early Development Instrument (EDI). Indicators will report on two of the four subdomains.

For each of the priorities, there will be at least three levels of consideration:

Share information with School Community Councils to enhance their knowledge and understanding;

School Community Councils participate with the school to develop school based strategies to achieve school division goals;

School Community Councils develop community based supports for the agreed upon school goals.

Councils will provide advice through their jointly developed Learning Improvement Plan

The interest of ALL children must be taken into consideration and Special Advocacy Groups should not detract from the learning for all students

Discussion of concerns about individual students or staff are not the role of the SCC, but should be referred to the principal.
