THE TEACHERS TRAINING TEAM
A TEAM OF INNOVATIVE, EXPERIENCED PE STAFF WORKING WITHIN AND THROUGHOUT HIGH QUALITY PE AND SPORTS NETWORKS.
WORKING WITH PE AND SCHOOL SPORT HUB SITES TO DELIVER A QUALITY PROGRAM TO SUPPORT BOTH YOUNG PEOPLE AND SCHOOLS.
WE WORK FROM WITHIN – UP SKILLING EXISTING STAFF WITHIN THEIR OWN LOCALISED NETWORKS AND ENSURING QUALITY DELIVERY OF OUR APPRENTICESHIP MODEL. – EDUCATIONAL FUTURES

Who are Sporting Futures Training?
• Sporting Futures Training UK Ltd - Learning Provider established August 2011 for school – based PE and School Sports Apprentices
• Preparing for all the reforms – Submitted on the ROATP
• Working with centre approval to deliver qualifications through Active IQ, Cache, 1st4 Sport, Edexcel, Ascentis andSports Leaders UK, NCFE
2012 – 2016 Placements
Numbers have grown throughout the networks progressively
We now have over 220 young people in School Based Apprenticeship Pathways across the country

What can we offer ?
Level 2 - Intermediate Apprenticeships in Activity Leadership either Leadership or Coaching Pathway - Functional skills
Progression ( potential )
Level 3 Diploma - Advanced Apprenticeship in Supporting The Delivery of PE and School Sport
Once area is up and running – Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning
Apprenticeship Reforms and
Apprenticeship Levy
This will change all delivery for 2018
BUT next year Activity Leadership will
remain as a Framework and will be
delivered as per this year.
Delivery
Delivery:
• In host school four days a week – one day working
with School Games Organiser as workforce or one day Training within local Hub site
• Supporting within PE throughout the school day
• Running lunchtime and after school clubs
• Supporting with preparation of teams for
competitions/Festivals• Supporting with administration with subject leader
in primary/secondary
• Display boards
• Tidying PE cupboards
• Taking small cohorts of challenging grps to keep
active• Running Change for Life Clubs.
• In the classroom – supporting within lessons, paired reading
Wages 2017 - 2018
Employed and hosted within a primary, secondary or special school
Unless working for dual use facility which involves shift work
You will be paid on Apprenticeship wages:
£105 a week for 52 weeks. £5460
You wont be expected to take holiday time during term time.
19 plus will be paid the same in their first year of an apprenticeship
19 plus in the second year of an apprenticeship will be paid £168-00 =
a week = £8736
21Plus in second yr £211-00 a week = £10972
