The VeSync app features 3 ways for you to control your outlets automatically: Schedule, Timer, and Away Mode. You can set up and edit these right from your VeSync app.

Schedule, Timer, and Away Mode

Schedule Mode

1. Tap the name of the outlet you would like to set a schedule for.

2. Under the “Schedule” section, tap Create Schedule.

3. Tap Start to set a start time for the schedule. 4. You can choose a specific time, or you can set your start time for Sunrise or Sunset.

5. Tap the left or right arrows to select Sunrise or Sunset. Tap to confirm your selection.

Note: You need to allow the VeSync app to access your location to determine when sunrise and sunset are for your area. If you need to allow access, go to your phone’s Settings.

6. Tap End and follow the same steps to set an end time for the schedule.

Note: You can toggle between turning the outlet On or Off at the Start and End times.

7. Tap Repeat to choose which days you want the schedule repeated. Tap the to confirm your selection.

8. Tap the in the top right corner to save your schedule.

9. Tap next to the schedule to turn the schedule on or off.

Note: • Tapping the will override the currently active schedule.• You can set up to 26 schedules.

10. You can delete a schedule by tapping the schedule name, then tapping Delete.

1. Tap the name of the outlet you would like to set a timer for.

2. Under the “Timer” section, tap Set Timer.

3. Choose how long you would like to set the timer for. When the timer finishes, the outlet will turn on or off based on your choice.

Note: The minimum time is 1 second. The maximum time is 11 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.

4. Choose whether you’d like the outlet to turn On or Off when the timer is finished.

5. Tap in the top right corner to save your timer.

Note: You can set up to 5 timers.

6. Tap to start your timer.

7. You can also tap to stop and reset the timer. 8. You can delete a timer by tapping the timer name, then tapping Delete.

1. Tap the name of the outlet you would like to set Away Mode for.

2. Under the “Away” section, tap Set Away Mode.

Away Mode

AWAY MODE

Away Mode works like a schedule, but randomizes the On/Off times to give the appearance that someone is still home.Note: Away Mode uses a 30 minute window before and after the set time for randomizing. For example, if you set the Away Mode to start at 1PM, the outlet will turn on/off sometime between 12:30PM and 1:30PM.

3. Tap Start to set a start time for Away Mode. 4. Select the time you would like Away Mode to start. Tap to confirm your selection.

5. Tap End and follow the same steps to set an end time for Away Mode.

6. Tap Repeat to choose which days you want to use Away Mode. Tap the to confirm your selection.

7. Tap in the top right corner to save the Away Mode schedule.

8. Tap to turn Away Mode on or off.

Note: • Tapping the will override Away Mode if it is active.• You can only have 1 Away Mode set at a time.

9. You can delete the Away Mode schedule by tapping on the schedule, then tapping Delete.
