Join the celebration of the grand re-opening of the Solano Community College Performing Arts Center. The College goes back to the future as the curtain is raised for the first performance at the Opening Night Gala on Saturday, September 9th. We’re celebrating 50 years of bold and dynamic performing arts at SCC.

Our vision is to create a future as bright as the past, so the gala theme is “Back To The Future.” For us, back to the future means educating and training the next generation of students engaged in performing arts. The SCC Performing Arts Center is a beautiful new auditorium that will encourage students to follow their dreams while engaging and entertaining audiences for generations to come. But the Center is more than a stage. It’s a building dedicated to higher education with teaching labs for acting, choral and orchestra, practice rooms for individuals and small groups; a recording studio for sound and video editing; and shops for set and lighting production, and costume design. The Gala will be a fun cocktail event with performances in the auditorium to celebrate the history of performing arts at Solano Community College, presentation of the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Awards, and recognition of Gala sponsors and the donors participating in the Facility Naming Rights campaign.
