Introduction• As a director of operations for Econo-Pak, Robert "Bobby"

Wiebel oversees all day-to-day activities at two food packaging plants in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. A graduate of Pope John XXIII Regional High School in Sparta, NJ, Robert Wiebel is an active supporter of SCARC, a non-profit which provides support to people with developmental disabilities.

Created in 1957 with the launch of a preschool program, SCARC has since expanded its programming to include residential services, employment support, and a wide range of recreational activities. The organization works closely with New Jersey Special Olympics to offer training in numerous Special Olympics disciplines in preparation for regional and statewide competitions.

SCARC• One Accord Choir, meanwhile, allows children and

adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to learn and sing music with the goal of performing in small concerts for family and friends.

Other recreational activities offered include art classes, hiking trips, and dining experiences. These activities are typically offered to small groups as a means of developing and enhancing interpersonal relationships. In addition, some larger group activities such as dances and picnics are also held seasonally.
