Scania camera and monitor systems

Scania offers modern camera and monitor solutions that give you

control over the areas closest to your truck – at the front and rear.

The 7” monitor is integrated into the long dashboard. For rear

view systems, you can also mount the monitor with the help of

the bracket at the dashboard. The cameras are 100% waterproof

and feature heated lenses that eliminate frost and moisture

problems.

European guidelines aimed at reducing hazards caused by

restricted visibility have been mandatory since January 2007.

Scania camera systems conform to the latest CE, ADR, RFI, VDE

and EMC specifi cations.

Front camera

The Scania front camera overcomes the danger of no visibility in

the blind spot to the front of the cab. The images provided give

you clear, unambiguous visual information.

The camera bracket is especially designed to show the optimum

fi eld of vision. The front view system (kit) may replace the front

mirror according to the European mirror directive 2003/97/EC and

2005/27/EC and is homologated together with all Scania series G,

P, R and T via the Scania certifi cate 2003/97*2005/27*2500*05

and can be used in the complete European market.

Rear view

Manoeuvring a truck at loading bays or in tight spaces always

risks cosmetic damage or broken lights. Up to three cameras can
