A new cafe' in Salado, Texas will be opening on June 30, 1999. Here are afew words from Sherry Baker Bonnett and Mollie Ann Holt Our cafe'specializes in gourmet breakfasts, desserts, brunches, lunches, intimatedinners and coffees. Our goal is to provide the local community and peoplefrom out of town a place to enjoy their friends with the finest hospitalityand build long lasting relationships with our customers. Also, catering isavailable.Owner and Caterer, Sherry Baker Bonnett has been in the cateringbusiness for many years. \Vhat inspired her was that show, "Cooking withJulia Childs." She was six years old when she became interested incooking and still has the old original recipes. She is currently involved incommunity relations consisting of leading a "Single Women's Ministry" atFirst Christian Church, "Salado Chamber of Commerce Ladies Auxiliary"and "Bible Study Teacher for young teens.General Manager and Event Coordinator, Mollie Ann Holt from Houston,Texas has been involved with her own business, "M.A.H. CREATIONSoj'She has worked with some of the finest restaurants and also was involved incivic organizations. As an enhancement to the community she is going toform a Wednesday Morning Group called, "THE SALADO BREAK.FASTBUNCH." She says this will provide people in the community to buildbetter business and community relations. This will enhance the team withher knowledge of marketing and unique flair.
