Introduction
The present work was an attempt to locate and sample the weak Megatem II anomalies trending from the west to the 4 Corners of Munro, Guibord, McCool, Michaud Townships, and then spreading out eastsoutheast, where 2 are plotted as near surface conductors (F and G). Please refer to excerpts of OGS Map 81780 of 2003, File M-4415, attached. All work was done on claims 783657, 658, 675, 677, 678, 686, and 758899, by the author Hermann Daxl, M.Sc., for David Meunier, holder of the claims. The Beep Mat BM4 + rented from GDD Instrumentation Inc., Quebec, can detect a conductor under overburden for manual excavation and sampling.
The area lies 96km east of Timmins, on Highway 101 east of Matheson towards Quebec Province, before Perry Lake Lodge, then 1 km south on a narrow gravel road, which crosses the cut EW township line at NAD83 17U 0562830 E - 5376460 N. Please refer to the attached maps.
Previous work on the wider Meunier property includes geophysics and repeated diamond drilling since 1965, and an IP survey in 1996, as described in the drill report by Teasdale and Fliszar for Barrick Gold in April 1997. The geology reportedly consists of variably magnetic ultramafic rocks flanked by basalt flows, all trending along the Pipestone Fault about 120 azimuth. Sparse gold values up to 2.69 glt Au over 2.6m were intersected along the contact of ultramafics with tuff northwest of Highway 101. In 2004 a small MAG and Max Min II survey on the eastern half of the present work area found no significant conductor and the diffuse MAG could agree with deep overburden.

Present Work
An area of SOm radius was scanned at 10m intervals with the Beep Mat BM4 around conductor plots AI BI C, but not D which lies in the swamp. Band C lie in low dry areas but the sand overburden may be quite deep here too. Plots E, ~ G, H, I, were also scanned within a 50m radius but at 15m intervals. Moss patches were scanned more densely and also near the path between the anomalies. No conductors nor magnetic rocks, nor outcrop, were encountered. A few boulders were seen only on the lower land west of anomaly A.
Of the further anomalies eastward seen on the enclosed excerpt, one anomaly northeast of Highway 101 may be more significant, if it is not outside the claims. These were not investigated this time. The deep sand deposits seem to continue eastward and were also found west of Cold Water Lake (Perry Lake).
The Megatem II plots taken from the 1 :50,000 OGS map 81780 were marked with pink ribbons for easier field orientation l and are as follows:

Conclusions and Recommendations
The Beep Mot BM4 + generally is quite successful in locating Megatem II conductors for hand excavation and sampling, however, the various small hills here probably are thick sand deposits, judging by the total absence of boulders and outcrops, and ubiquitous sand under 10cm humus. Even the two interpreted surface conductors Fond G could not be found, although F may be due to the wet depression there.
Except for the swamp with sparse small pine in the West at anomaly 0, the area is an open tall pine forest with few local shrubs, but much Labrador teo and blueberries. Some local patches of caribou or green moss as elsewhere seen over outcrops here are over sand. Possibly this change of vegetation may reflect mineralization. An orientation soil survey is therefore recommended and would possibly tell whether the Megatem II anomalies at depth are of any value.
However, the 1 sq.in. survey pin with a flange marked Ontario Natural Resources Crown Survey, 2 I - MU'O and GU/O VI, was found under 1 Oem moss on the cut Munro~Giubord township line at NA083 UTM 1 7U 562460 E - 5376460 N. Also completely covered claim posts and tags 783686-1 and 783657-2 were found within 1 mat 562417 E -5376458 N, 3m north of that township line. The 4-corners are marked by the 5cm round iron pin and the 15cm wood post at 563261 E -5376472 N, in agreement with the maps used.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT
The originally proposed coverage for the Kidd-Munro, Blake River area produced a significant gap in part of the survey area (see shaded portion of location map). While carrying out the contracted geophysical surveys, Fugro Airborne Surveys continued their flight lines through this gap, creating a continuous data stream and adding 2738 line-kilometers of uncontracted data, resulting in < considerable enhancement to the Kldd-Munro, Blake River data set
This additional, uncontracted data has been graciously donated by r .. __ .. _ ...... _ r\: .... ....... ......... I\kj+ih; I ..... a·i .... n'o. Tho ""~n~nQn"I.o.nt nf niC::I'V\\lt::a
