Welcome to the SC State University Employee Performance Management System Training. Throughout the training, we will use this column to elaborate on the content that you see on the right of the screen.

Four Levels of Performance

1. Substantially Exceeds Performance Work that is characterized by exemplary accomplishments

throughout the rating period; performance that is considerably and consistently above the success criteria of

the job

2. Exceeds Performance Work that is above the success criteria for the job throughout the rating period.

3. Meets Performance Work that meets the success criteria for the job.

4. Below Performance Work that fails to meet the success criteria of the job.
