About the Community

• Geographical Location: Chhapar Ka Bas, a village as it is resembled by its name, majority of population is of Gurjar community coming under OBC category. Centrally located in the Kant gram panchyat on road on the Jaipur – Delhi highway.

• Cultural Background:- people eat bajra and wheat. Males wear dhoti kurta and pagdi and females wear sari and ghaghra lugdi. They celebrate all indian festivals.

• Role of Satya Bharti School in the Village: Our school is supported and an example of real model of public-private-partnership. In spite of several private schools the parents wants to admit their children in our schools and supporting us. Satya Bharti School is not only proved to be the school but a movement to change whole locality with respect to many social evils prior existing in the village but through our regular efforts, transformation is happening.

• Participation in ‘Design for Giving’ School Contest: we saw some selfish people converted in commercial the treefulland near the river. And after a few time in big quantity green plants and trees were cut down. They build many big buildings, hotels etc. we thought that if such speed trees will cut down and then soon the area will be treeless. Its harmful to environment so we decided to work about it.
