SBC Introduction Called as Alicanto and new symm naming convention is Vmax
10K. 4 engine max system configuration i.e. 8 directors. Two flavors available , Fab less and fabric. Single engine is called fabless as we it does not require MIBE. Multi engine is called fabric system i.e. online up gradation of
engines by using MIBE( second engine always have MIBE and other will be connected to it).
Engine and drives present on the same bay and can have daisy chained bay .
Up to 64 DAEs ( 16 per engine). 6 DIMMs present for each engine.
SBC Engine layout Argonaut engine: Both the directors are next to
each other not as one on the top of other (Vmax 1).
Each engine has two power supplies and a management module.
Each director has I/O modules ( Front and back end).
