May 12, 2015 To Whom It May Concern: I highly recommend Sue Bauer for the position for which she is applying. I have been fortunate to supervise Sue from March to May of the 2014-2015 school year, at Merrill Elementary School. Ms. Bauer was an educational paraprofessional practicum student in my third grade classroom. Sue exhibited a sense of humor, patience, flexibility and a positive attitude. She quickly established rapport with students and staff. Due to the nature of the position, communication with staff was essential. I received many positive comments regarding Sue’s communication skills. Ms. Bauer’s worked with third grade students in small groups or in a one-on-one situations assisting with tasks in all the content areas. She also worked in a Kindergarten classroom, as well as two first grade classrooms assisting students with reading. Sue also had the ability to manage all kinds of clerical tasks efficiently; computer skills, making copies, data entry, spreadsheets, and sorting papers. I am very impressed with Sue’s organizational skills. She has the ability to organize her time efficiently and is self-motivated. It is my professional opinion that Sue will be an excellent addition to any teaching staff. Her warm personality, sincere desire to learn, passion for helping others, and natural talents make her an ideal choice for any school district.
