Business Creation

Identify and accelerate local entrepreneurs toward new and expanded business creation by providing the appropriate training, the right expert services, and matching them together with experienced mentors.

We support our local business development cluster that includes our incubator, maker-space, and co-working spaces.

We believe in fractional staffing due to increased efficiency of both time and money. Additionally, because compassion, empathy and emotional intelligence are essential skills for success in both business and life, all staff must demonstrate a willingness to experiment with new ideas and flexibility to adapt to unexpected results as data for learning and professional growth.

Our team is composed of:• Serial Entrepreneurs• Industrial + Graphic Designers and Videographers• Web Developers• SEO and Social Media • Sales Professionals • Inbound Marketing Experts • Business Coaches• Accredited Angel Investors All with startup-savvy chops

We are the Piedmont Triad’s only business accelerator

The Piedmont Triad of NC is Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem and we have an estimated population 600k.

We assist a budding Maker Community in an area suffering from chronic economic depression, high unemployment, and the lowest wages in the country* and we have a large and growing population of minorities.

We are rich in a demographic diversity of immigrants and we are very fortunate collaborate with the small and innovative Elon School of Law (our next door neighbor) that provides in-kind support in legal clinics and interns.

We are not an investment accelerator, and seek no equity in exchange for our services. We are supported through community foundation grants.

We have a wide range of startups, and one model does not always fit everyone.

We seek to fill our accelerator with Founders of diverse industry* and demographic** backgrounds. Our methods all stem from the same core process but are tailored to fit the needs of Founders. Some need Lean Startup coaching, some need branding, some need mentors, some need sales validation, some need basic business skills while some need all of the above.

*Accelerated startups 2014-2015 have included:12 - Manufacturing, Makers and Bakers10 - Internet Tech Geeks06 - Specialized Service Providers 02 - Social Entrepreneurs
