North State Building Industry Foundation 2013 Educator Externships $2,000 Stipend Externs in the program are awarded $2,000 for their full participation. Lesson Plans Externs develop lesson plans based on their real world experience working with local employers. Fall Banquet Externs and students gather for Show and Tell Banquet, where they showcase their experiences. Paid Summer Externship Program The CTE Partnership Summer Externship program provides educators 40 hours of experience in a construction, power, or energy company. Teachers will create a lesson plan based upon their externship experience and will learn firstF hand how the subject areas they teach are used in a variety of occupations.
