SavingTeens Methodology
Michael Age: 15
Juvenile detention stays: 5
Key Problems: Drug and alcohol abuse, theft, emotional disturbance
Saving Teens helped to send him to a 12-week wilderness program, and
then helped place him in a therapeutic school.
Example: Full Residential
Michael Today: Sober five months; thriving academically
To his mother:
“I don't know who these people are or how you got this done, but I am
so grateful and amazed that people care about me and I promise not to
waste a day of it.”
After an intensive program, Saving Teens helps families pay for
ongoing aftercare counseling.
Our daughter’s toughest challenge: Incorporating her new
knowledge about herself into how life would be when she left
“her mountain home.” We returned home and she fell apart
within days!
After three weeks of weekly (and sometimes more than weekly)
calls I believe we are seeing miracles in the transition…
