“SAVE THE GIRL CHILD” Programme held at the Delhi Government Dispensary, Trilokpuri on 23.01.14.

41 mothers and their infants aged 1-2 months and the ASHA workers of the respective areas, attended the “Save the Girl Child” programme held at the Delhi Government dispensary, Trilokpuri on 23.01.14.

Dr.Mona Lisa, MO (I/C), DGD, Trilokpuri, congratulated the new mothers for being blessed with a healthy girl child. Emphasis was made to educate the girl child, so as to make her stand on her own feet and thereby make her

future secure.

Dr.Sarika, MO, DGD, Trilokpuri, stressed the importance of timely immunization of the infants. Dr.Shirin, CMO(H), made aware of the efficacy

of Homoeopathic medicines in both infantile diseases and post-natal care of the mothers.

Toys and laddoo packets were distributed as a token of appreciation and to promote the importance of having a girl child.
