$20 / person online and $25 / person at the door

This adults only event provides a place for the Capitol Hill community — teachers, parents, family and caregivers — to come together for an evening of socializing and building our community.

The Silent Auction gives you an opportunity to purchase seats at events donated by members of our community — some for adults, some for students, and some for fam-ilies. The money raised supports the work and the budget for the Capitol Hill PTO. This is a great way to meet other Capitol Hill families while supporting the PTO!

Doors will open at 7pm and the event will end at 9:30pm, open house style. Mingle and peruse the bidding tables where future community building events and other items will be for sale. Appetizers, beverages and a cash bar will be available. Come early for the best selection of items and events! The Mock Trial By Erin M. Moore

If our class had to pick our favorite field trip this school year it would be the Mock Trial.

Everyone got really into it and we all extremely enjoyed it. We liked how we got to learn through experience and participation. It got us really into the judicial system and made us excited about court job options for the future. I think my classmates would agree with

me when I say that if we had the opportunity to do another mock trial again, we would. That is why the Mock Trial was an unforgettable and enticing experience. We also received a personal tour of Mayor Carter's office. Thank you, Mayor Carter!

Sunshine Vang has made history @ Capitol Hill! She is the First ever from Capitol Hill to Capture the 2019 Championship Title for Singles in The Washington Badminton Tournament. Hats off to Coach Michelle Johnson. Congratulations to SUNSHINE VANG!

Belwin Nature Center By Erin M. Moore

Our class loved going to Belwin Nature Center. It was an even more enjoyable experience because we could pick what activities we would learn about. For each group, we got to learn but still have fun in nature. It stood out to us because we got to try something new and/or fun for ourselves. The field trip to Belwin Nature Center also reminded us that we should be grateful for our privileges as students of Saint Paul Public Schools. I think I’m not the only one up in my class who would say it exceeded everyone's high expectations and interest.

To the Capitol Hill Community, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing me with 17 wonderful years at Capitol Hill. I have accepted an offer to work as a Learning Lead/Coach for Principal Jackson at Nokomis Montessori North School. The friendships that develop throughout the years at CH often lead to forming friends for life.
