The YES 360 In Schools program was first implemented in 2011 and has grown into a comprehensive set of programs that facilitate the creaon of enriching educaonal and entrepreneurial opportunies, financial knowledge and assets, and community stewardship amongst youth in our disadvantaged communies. To date the program has benefied from connued support (financial and otherwise) from the philanthropic/charitable, banking, nonprofit, and business communies. Engaging. Enriching. Educating. 2018-19Highlight YES provides a weekly financial series in classrooms engaging students in lessons from the YES Basics program, focusing on 5 pillars: EARN, SAVE, SPEND, INVEST, DONATE. In Fall 2018, this series of sessions - led by an experienced cer�fied financial educator - helped kids learn and develop habits to save money. Under the YES 360 umbrella falls a variety of key topics and ac�vi�es, including: YES Basics, Small Business Ventures & EXPO, KidsInvest, Robo�cs, and Social Entrepreneurship. Each of these ac�vi�es covered aspects of personal finance, financial management, and entrepreneurship in varying depths of detail. YES Basics is designed to teach kids basic money management skills and preparethemtomakesoundfinancialdecisions.YES piloted a promising strategy which aims to grow into a mul�-year ini�a�ve to develop, test, and promote matched savings accounts and financial educa�on for children and youth. YES set the stage for asset building by bringing together community partners to educate, administer, and seed accounts for children that provide a structured opportunity to save and accumulate assets for higher educa�on and/or entrepreneurial pursuits. The ini�a�ve will scale and expand to consists of three key levels of engagementasitisfurtherestablished.
