It provides seamless roaming and handover between base stations. The indoor DECT base station is the Radio Fixed Part (RFP) for the SIP-DECT handset solution and are directly connected to the local area network (LAN). The TEL-BST11 enables complete integration of DECT radio networks into the IP infrastructure of the Savant Telephony solution. It is powered either by an optional power supply unit (TEL-BSTPWR) or by Power over Ethernet (PoE). The TEL-BST11 supports up to 72 DECT wireless handsets in the Savant Telephony architecture, and up to 8 simultaneous calls per base station. The TEL-BST11 is connected directly to the LAN like a VoIP device and uses the benefits of established DECT technology for radio transmission. This ensures full compatibility with cordless DECT terminals, which are available as system telephones and standard Generic Access Profile (GAP) terminals. The VoIP solution is particularly suitable for branch offices that are connected to a company’s headquarters via IP routes. The integrated mobile handsets act as normal company extensions, which means that staff can always be reached on their telephone number, regardless of whether they are currently in headquarters or one of the branch offices. Description

The Savant Indoor Base Station (TEL-BST11) is a DECT-over-IP base station (access point) used along with the Savant DECT IP wireless handsets (TEL-HSTW01) in the Savant telephony architecture.
