Saul Bass (1920-1996)

Saul Bass was an American graphic designer. He was best known for his design of motion picture title sequences, film, film posters, and classic logo designs.

He’s collaborations are with: Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick and Martin Scorsese

He is best known for simple, geometric shapes and their symbolism. He made them to deliver a powerful message.

He captures the mood of a film with simple shapes and images instead of using boring photographs of a film start.
