Special sleep capsules, which people can rent to get some badly-needed shuteye, have sprang up in recent months, proving especially popular among white-collar workers. Now, sleepy staff can pay for their 40 winks by using their cellphones. WeChat, China’s most-used messaging app -- with around 800 million users -- can now be used to unlock each self-service capsule for half an hour during off-peak times for a fee of six yuan (about $0.88). This cheap method allows workers to have a nap in the futuristic capsules which include a blanket, sheets, ear plugs and are also equipped with USB points and power sockets. However, the price of a 30-minute nap in the capsules can go up to 10 yuan (around $1.5) between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. because workers usually prefer quick naps during the mid-day rush. One of the focal points for this soothing service is Xiangshui Space in Beijing, also known as China’s ‘Silicon Valley’. Guang Tienlang, an operating officer at a capsule site in Xiangshui Space, told Anadolu Agency it would be hard to find an empty... Kaamil Ahmed and Anees Barguti JERUSALEM - Two Palestinian men were shot dead in Israeli-occupied East Jerusalem on Friday, health officials said. The killings came as Palestinians and Israeli security forces clashed after security restrictions were placed on the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. “A Palestinian was killed in Ras al-Amoud neighborhood after he was shot in his head by a Jewish settler,” the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement. An eyewitness, who asked not to be named for fear of retribution, told Anadolu Agency that the gunman “opened fire on Palestinian protesters in East Jerusalem, which led to the death of one of them.” Makassed Hospital in East Jerusalem identified 20-year-old Mohammad Abu Ghannam as the other victim. Dozens of Palestinians were injured Friday as Israeli police attacked worshippers outside the mosque, which is the third holiest site in Islam. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, two Palestinians were injured by live ammunition and 100 others were wounded by rubber bullets. Other clashes between angry Palestinian youths and Israeli forces broke out in several cities across the West Bank after Friday prayers. The Red Crescent said 17 were wounded by live gunfire and 50 by rubber bullets. It said 70 others suffered temporary...
