Integrated Table Motion for da Vinci Xi
Dynamic Access & Exposure
Use gravity to expose anatomy, maximise reach and deliver tissue at an ideal working angle.
Efficient Workflow for Every Case
Optimally position the patient without compromise to increase autonomy for the surgeon and anesthesiologist or to provide immediate patient relief.
Seamless Integration with Precise Feedback
The da Vinci® Xi™ System and Trumpf Medical TruSystem™ 7000dV OR Table connect wirelessly, then provide feedback on table angles for the OR team.
Integrated Table Motion enables
the da Vinci® Xi™ Surgical System
to connect to Trumpf Medical‘s
TruSystem™ 7000dV OR Table so
that a patient can be dynamically
positioned while the surgeon
operates. The ability to reposition
the operating table allows for
optimal exposure and access to
the target anatomy. This helps
to increase efficiency and better
manage the patient during
robotic-assisted procedures.

MISSION
To be the primary hub of surgical research and education at RPA through the development of academic surgical departments that pioneer best surgical practice and patient care.
@RPA_IAS #IAS
17
The inaugural Sydney Robotics Summit 2017 has been coordinated by the Institute of Academic Surgery (IAS), at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The IAS was established in 2014 to lead, encourage and motivate all surgery-related staff to be involved in surgical research and education.
Focusing on key areas of academic career development, patient care, research and innovation the work of the IAS encompasses medical, nursing and allied health staff as well as spanning the full range of surgical and other non-surgical related specialties.
It is hoped the knowledge and evidence generated by the IAS will positively influence future policy and guideline development, and contribute significantly toward embedding surgical research and education at the hospital level.
The IAS welcomes anyone interested in surgical research or education to actively get involved and collaborate with us. Together we can significantly improve surgical practice and patient outcomes.
