Nicola Spencer (Bannonbrig) Involved in showing and breeding for over 38 years, my parents owned Irish Setters, which I competed with as a Junior Handler. I am a partner in the Bannonbrig affix, established in 1982, since when I became involved with Spinone during their reintroduction to the UK. Our kennel has won the Top UK Breeder title numerous time with Champions and major award winners in Finland, USA, Ireland and South Africa. I commenced judging in the late 1980s and was first passed to award CCs in 1999. I regularly judge breeds from all Groups at Open Show level. I have judged Spinones at Crufts and at the 3 major Breed Club Nationals in the UK, USA and Italy. Over the years I have been involved in various activities from Gundog, Obedience & Agility training through to showing, breeding and judging which are my favourite pursuits. I had my first Dachshund in 1994 and currently own Miniature Wire & Smooths, which I also judge at Breed Club level. I have previously served for both a National Breed Club & a local Canine Society as Honorary Secretary and more recently been involved in the foundation of The Jack Russell Terrier Club. Passionate about breed judges’ education, I have passed exams/assessments for a wide range of breeds across most groups. Nikki Denny (Matoutahi / Janimist) I have been actively involved in dog showing for over 30 years, showing my first dog, an Airedale Terrier at the age of 5. At 8 my family got our first Beagle and in 1989 we started our family affix of Janimist. In 2011, I got my first GBGV. I still actively participate in both Breeds have made up Champions in both, taken Championship level group placings and have handled many breeds in other groups to CCs. I am on numerous judging lists in various groups and award CCs in my first love Beagles. I strongly support the next generation of dog showers and breeders and help and tutor many young handlers. Primarily I believe in sage guarding the integrity of our hobby by breeding for health and type, judging to KC standards and only placing healthy dogs. Rebecca Rowe (Boloria) I am on the Dachshund Breed Council B List, have show Dachshunds for 15 years and have recently made up my first Champion. I also show a variety of different breeds from across all 7 groups but I mainly handle in the Hound, Working & Gundog groups Angela Aylett (Angcherish) I have been showing Chihuahuas for 16 years and have bred 3 Smooth Coat Champions, I have also shown my daughters Staffordshire Bull terrier which was awarded BIS at the Terrier Club. I award CCs in Smooth & Long Coat Chihuahua. I have judged Smooth Coats in Ireland at Championship Show level and have judged several Toy Groups at Open Shows. I am looking forward in judging at Camborne Redruth. Maria Clark (Canequiss) I am on the A3 list for Ibizan Hounds, been judging handling for 7 years and competing for 15 years and have been placed every year at the semi-finals. I have also applied for the Dalmatian Club C List. Holly Hitchcock (Bobitch) I have been involved in showing dogs for 5 years with Pugs being my first love. I have several Stud Book numbers. I have also shown Miniature Pinschers, having made up one Champion and two others on several RCCs Robert Hitchcock (Bobitch) I have been involved in dogs for nearly 20 years. Pugs & Bulldogs being my first love, with Pugs taking priority. I have made up 7 Pug Champions including Top Pug 2010 and 1 Miniature Pinscher Champion. I awards CCs in Pugs and have been approved for Miniature Pinschers. I have also had success with Havanese, Akitas and have won RCCs with 2 other Miniature Pinschers. I have a broad interest in various breeds including the Shar Pei, Shiba Inu, Polish Lowland, Rough Collie, Shetland Sheepdog, French Bulldog and Bullmastiff.

DOGS IN VEHICLES ON HOT DAYS Your dog is vulnerable and at risk during hot weather and the Kennel Club offers the following guidance to help guide you through the do’s and don’ts travelling to and whilst at KC licensed events. When travelling to a show please take a moment to consider whether the route to the
show is on a busy holiday route, and leave earlier to avoid increased time in traffic jams
If your vehicle is not air-conditioned seriously consider whether travelling to the show is a good idea at all
The vehicle should be as fully ventilated as possible, and plenty of stops should be taken, with lots of water available to drink
Ensure your dog is not sitting in full sunlight. There should be plenty of free flowing air around the dog
When at the show, never leave your dog in the vehicle Keep the dog in the shade – take your own shade for example a large umbrella and
always have plenty of water available to drink so your dog stays well hydrated Avoid your dog taking part in unnecessary exertion, or from standing in exposed
sunlight for extended lengths of time. Remember, if you feel hot your dog is very likely to feel much hotter and dehydrated, and this could lead to dire results. Please look after your dog’s welfare. WARNING: IF YOUR DOG IS FOUND TO BE AT RISK FORCIBLE ENTRY TO YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE NECESSARY WITHOUT LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED. Anyone whose dog is entered at a Kennel Club licensed event should take all reasonable steps to ensure the needs of their dog(s) are met, and should not put a dog’s health and welfare at risk by any action, default, omission or otherwise. Breach of Kennel Club Regulations in this respect may be referred to the General Committee for disciplinary action under Kennel Club Rules and Regulations. Right to Refuse Entries. Exhibitors/Competitors are reminded that show societies have the right under Kennel Club Regulation to refuse any entry.
