It was back in the early 20th century that my great-grandfather Régis Brunon arrived in the district of Saint-Just-Malmont, which had only just been connected to the electrical system, to expand his furnishing trimmingsbusiness.

His son André took over the running of the firm just before the Second World War.In 1957 he transformed the business from a third party contractor into an independent company and earned his stripes as a narrow weaver: SATAB was born.

His grandson Jacques, my father, took over the running of the factory located near the family home in the late 1960s. Over the space of 30 years, he internationalised SATAB and boosted its industrial resources to make it the leading European manufacturer.This age-old tradition combined with a global sales and industrial presence, 40 000 m2 of factory and logistical space, dynamic and highly skilled teams today make SATAB a name worldwide recognized for its creativity and technical excellence.This is the heritage which has been passed down to us today and which each and every day we strive to build upon, to constantly provide solutions tailored to your specific needs.

Since the end of the 1960s we have been

developing an industrial integration

strategy for the entire manufacturing

process of our textile solutions. From

preparing the thread (warping), through

to manufacturing (weaving, knitting,

braiding, plaiting), through to every type

of finishing (dyeing, printing...), and

including logistics, all are part of our

textile skills.

Thanks to up to the minute production

tools, our manufacturing capacity has now

reached 5,000,000 metres per week. Our

stock of 40,000 references and all our ISO

9001 certified bodies provide reliability

of service and guarantee, with Oekotex

certification, the compliance of all our

products.

This self controlled industrial strategy

enables us to offer our clients total mastery

of fundamental criteria, such as delivery and
