About Mid and Final Year Evaluation
Evaluation is an important tool for an organization, that provides an opportunity for both Evaluators and
Reviewers to assess and discuss associate’s performance and progress against goals, proactively discuss any
concerns and/or challenges, and collaboratively develop action plans.
➢ Objective is to measure and improve the performance of our associates and increase their future potential
while adding value to HMSI.
➢ Helps in providing feedback, improving communication, understanding training needs and clarifying roles
and responsibilities in addition to determining how to allocate rewards

Process Flow for Goal Evaluation on SuccessFactors
• For Goals Evaluation, an associate has to enter actuals and achievements against the set goals and do
Self-Appraisal for each half (H1/ H2) of the current financial year and forward the same to the Evaluator
• For scoring above or below 3, it is mandatory to attach documents substantiating high/low level of
performance evaluation.
• Rating Scale for Goals/ KRAs (Part A) Evaluation:
• For Competencies, please mention “critical incidents” substantiating the scores given
• Rating Scale for Behavioral Competencies (Part B) Evaluation:

Goals Setting Evaluation - Guidelines
Once the First Half / Second Half Review Form is launched by HR, the form reaches to the Associate’s
Performance inbox for Self Evaluation.
• At this stage, associate enters rating and comment against each goal and competency
• Rating and Comment (minimum 40 characters) against each goal and competency is mandatory
• Continuous Performance Management information, if provided during the year, will be visible against each
goal.
• A Guideline document of role - based competencies (Rating Definition etc.) is provided through link.
• Writing Assistant option will be available for entering comments against each competency

Management System.

➢ Once the rating is approved by Directors, the Appraisal Letter is generated through system
➢ Associates will be able to view First Half Rating in their Performance Inbox folder on completion of the entire
process
➢ Completed Copy of the Goal Setting and Evaluation Form will be available in the Performance Inbox folder of
Associate, Evaluator as well as the Reviewer
Same process will be followed during Second Half Review process
