Santa Anita Race of the Day Analysis optixeq.com ANALYSIS by Emily Gullikson The Zuma Beach Stakes in many ways, and from a PLOT perspective could see a match-up between #2 ENCODER and #4 BILLY BATTS coming out of the Del Mar Juvenile Turf last month. In that event, BILLY BATTS was able to make a LONE lead, and could find similar based on today’s PLOT. ENCODER expects to find a similar tracking trip here stalking as a Square, not far oalso in Quad I, and currently has the advantage of the pair. The large Square of #3 HIT THE ROAD is worth paying attention to even in Quad IV, and with the lack of contention/SpeedRate usually needed from that position. This is worth keeping in mind as he is lightly raced and coming oa strong maiden win back in July. He is still establishing his running style, and capable to improve othat race. It is also worth noting there is some positive intent by the connections to run in this stakes event scratching out of the Del Mar Juvenile Turf. Not overly clear with #5 CLUB ASPEN based on his PLOT position, though he does expect to try and run early with BILLY BATTS coming out of his recent maiden win and making his route debut. Also one that has shown some speed, though unclear how that will translate this afternoon #1 HARIBOUX making his first local start coming out of much softer events overseas. Noted his “diamond” on the top right of the PLOT as he currently lacks the data to be including in the PLOT. All around a bit on the softer side in terms of OptixFIGs and Circles on the PLOT both #6 WAR BEAST and #7 COOL RUNNINGS exiting maiden events.

ANALYSIS by Emily Gullikson

The Zuma Beach Stakes in many ways, and from a PLOT perspective could see a match-up between #2 ENCODER and #4 BILLY BATTS coming out of the Del Mar Juvenile Turf last month. In that event, BILLY BATTS was able to make a LONE lead, and could find similar based on today’s PLOT. ENCODER expects to find a similar tracking trip here stalking as a Square, not far off also in Quad I, and currently has the advantage of the pair.

The large Square of #3 HIT THE ROAD is worth paying attention to even in Quad IV, and with the lack of contention/SpeedRate usually needed from that position. This is worth keeping in mind as he is lightly raced and coming off a strong maiden win back in July. He is still establishing his running style, and capable to improve off that race.
